In the test,
which was in the last week, I faced some problems with grammar because I had
low scores in some sections. The worse grade I had, it was about using
commas. In the beginning it looks like easy to use commas, but with bracts it
kind of hard because the website's choices were confusing. Also, I think that I
did not learn about commas well. I learned the basic things about commas in
writing class and little in grammar class but there are some situations in
website’s questions I cant know how to use the commas with.
I did not know when using commas
is necessary and when it doesn’t necessary. In some exercises I have to put it
because when I did not but it the meaning of the sentences will be change. My
mistake in some situation did not know that commas
are needed to separate the coordinate and the adjectives. Also, I am confusing
of using commas with conjunctions. I know from the grammar exercise that no
comma is needed before the coordinating conjunction and because and does
not join independent clauses. In clauses I don’t know why we should but comma
with which closes and why we don’t have to put it with who.
I thought that the important thing of
butting commas in some sentences is to join to different sentences but I notice
that we can use commas before and after the sentences which is give extra
information. The other things what I thought it easy but it needs to focus is
prepositions because there are prepositions we use it to showing time, and the
other we use it to showing place. I should remember that the correct preposition before a specific time is at, and we use at before a noun indicates
the edge of something. The preposition in is used before a location. I need to know about each preposition
and why, how I should use it.
